by Yuncong Zhang, Feng Xue, Haichen Chu, Juntao Wang, Xiao Zhang, He Dong
Chronic Diseases Prevention Review 2017 1(3) 1-7; published online 25 May 2017
Abstract:
To evaluate the clinical analgesic efficacy of
dexmedetomidine combined with sufentanil on uterine
contraction pain after transabdominal hysteromyomectomy. 60
cases of patients applied with ASA I or II generalanesthesia
in hysteromyomectomy, they are divided into two groups
according to randomized double-blind control (n=30): Group S
received 0.04ug/(kg•h) of sufentanil, Group Y received
0.025ug/(kg•h) of sufentanil combined with 0.03ug/(kg•h) of
dexmedetomidine, both groups received compound use of 8mg
Ondansetron and 2.5mg Inapsine, which are diluted into 100ml
with normal saline, with background infusion at 2ml/h, PCA
dose of 2ml and a 10min lockout interval. PCA pump was
immediately connected after theoperation to record the BCS
comfort scores, VAS scores, Ramsay sedation scores,
effective pressing number within 48h, dose of sufentanil,
nausea and vomiting scores, MAP, HR, SPO 2% at 4h(T1),
8h(T2), 16h(T3), 24h(T4) and 48h(T5) and satisfaction of
patients within 48h. Compared with Group S, the VAS scores
of Group Y at 4h(T1), 8h(T2), 16h(T3), 24h(T4) and 48h(T5)
were lower, self-controlled effective pressing number within
48h declined, dose of sufentanil declined, and the
possibility of nausea and vomiting rate declined as well
(P<0.05), while the comparison of both groups on Ramsay
sedation scores at each time point after 48h of operation
was not statistically significant (P<0.05). The application
of dexmedetomidine in PCIA after transabdominal
hysteromyomectomy could decrease the dose of sufentanil,
which could decrease the possibility of nausea and vomiting,
obviously relieve the degree of uterine contraction pain, as
well as promote the degree of comfortand satisfaction of
patients.

Article: Clinical diagnosis and treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma associated with von Hippel-Lindau syndrome: a rare case report and review of literature
by Xiangnan Lin, Zhenli Gao, Hairong Jin, Youyi Lu, Yiping Bao, Lei Shi
Chronic Diseases Prevention Review 2017 1(3) 8-11; published online 25 May 2017
Abstract:
Investigate the clinical characteristics of advanced renal
cell carcinoma associated with von Hippel-Lindau syndrome to
improve the clinicians' understanding and reduce the
incidence of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
Retrospective analysis of clinical data of 1 patient which
suffered VHL syndrome complicated with advanced renal cell
carcinoma in urology of Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital
Affiliated to Qingdao University, review with the
literature. Results: This case of patients without renal
mass family history, which multiple mass were found in the
pancreas and kidney, several Suspicious mass Scattered in
Bilateral kidney, one of the mass located in left renal was
performed biopsy under the guidance of ultrasound, and the
Histological analysis confirmed after operation were left
renal clear cell carcinoma. Surgical is obviously not
suitable for treatment due to the number of the tumer.
Therefore sunitinib has been used as molecular targeted drug
to treatment in 2 years, and regular Computed tomography
(CT) scan found the tumor was significantly reduced in
follow-up period. VHL syndrome can occur in multiple
systems, renal cell carcinoma is a common cause of late
death, accurate clinical diagnosis and treatment, can
improve the late survival rate of patients with VHL
syndrome.

Article: Malignant hypertension as the initial symptoms in a patient with mesangioproliferative glomerulonephritis: a case report and review the literature
by Shilei Qiu, Jing Cui, Wenna Li, Huiming Ma, Wenxia Han, Yan zhang
Chronic Diseases Prevention Review 2017 1(3) 12-15; published online 25 May 2017
Abstract:
Some patients, especially the type 2 MPGN could have
malignant hypertension, but type 1 MPGN patient who have
Malignant hypertension were seldom reported. A 16-year-old
man was admitted to our hospital with a known history of
hypopsia for abnormal vision loss and decrease in renal
function. Renal pathology hint of primary membrane
proliferative glomerulonephritis. The clinical
manifestations of patients with malignant hypertension and
renal insufficiency. Patients with clinical symptoms were
significantly relieved when given anti-infective,
antihypertensive therapy. Kidney Essential Hypertension is
the most common secondary hypertension, accounting for the
second most common cause of hypertension in adults. To the
first manifestations of malignant hypertension as the
primary MPGN is rare, in the course of treatment should be
based on the control of blood pressure on the active
treatment of primary disease.

Article: Effects and mechanism of neuregulin on oxidative stress injury and Nrf2-are signaling pathway in Ratintracerebralhemorrhage
by Qiang Liu, Haiping Wang, Wenjing Yan, Yan Song, Yuling Qiao, Shuqing Wang
Chronic Diseases Prevention Review 2017 1(3) 16-21; published online 25 May 2017
Abstract:
To investigate the effect of neuregulin (NRG-1β) on
neurological function and cerebral edema in rats with
intracerebral hemorrhage and to explore the mechanism of
neuregulin in intracerebral hemorrhage by detecting the
expression of Nrf2-ARE, an endogenous antioxidant pathway.
Method: Ninety adult male SD rats were randomly divided into
control group, ICH group, ICH+vehicle group and ICH+NRG-1β
group (2ug/Kg), and the rat model of intracerebral
hemorrhage was established by stereotaxic caudate nucleus
injected with type Ⅳ collagenase. After 24 hours of
operation, the neurological dysfunction and the brain water
content were measured and the expression of Nrf2 and HO-1
protein was detected by immunohistochemistry in every group.
Results: Compared with the ICH group, the neurological score
and the degree of cerebral edema were significantly reduced
in the NRG-1β group after intracerebral ICH. The expression
of Nrf2 and HO-1 protein in NRG-1β treatment group was
significantly higher than that in ICH group. Conclusion:
Neuregulin can significantly reduce the secondary damage of
ICH, and its mechanism may be through the activation of
Nrf2-ARE antioxidant pathway inducing the expression of
downstream antioxidant enzymes, detoxification enzymes to
protect nerve cells.

Article: Analysis of correlation of liver, kidney and thyroid functions with hyperlipidemia in senile patients
by Yuanyuan Zhang, Song Hu, Jianya Liu, Jie Liu, Lei Zhang, Renping Wang, Yongjun Mao
Chronic Diseases Prevention Review 2017 1(3) 22-27; published online 25 May 2017
Abstract:
The objective of this study is to analyze the correlation of
liver, kidney and thyroid functions with hyperlipidemia in
senile patients, and provide objective clinical data for
designing effective treatment plan in clinical work.
According to the principle of informed consent form, a
number of 1289 senile dyslipidemia patients who did physical
examination in the health examination center in our hospital
were enrolled in the study. Questionnaire of blood lipid was
used to investigate general information of senile patients
with dyslipidemia; indicators related to blood lipid, liver
function, renal function and thyroid function were tested
and factors related to dyslipidemia were analyzed.
Statistical analysis demonstrated that the morbidity rate of
high level of total cholesterol (TC) and low density
lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in female was higher than
that in male and the prevalence rate of low level of high
density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) in male was higher
than that in female, which were all statistically
significant; there was no significant difference of
triglyceride (TG) levels between male and female. High TC,
TG and LDL-C was mainly concentrated in the 66-70 years of
age; while, there was no obvious difference of the
prevalence rate of low HDL-C among different ages.TC was
positively correlated with ALT, GGT and UA; TG was
positively associated with age, ALT, GGT and UA; HDL-C was
negatively correlated with sex and UA; LDL-C was positively
associated with Cr and UA, and negatively correlated with
sex and ALT. Therefore, the morbidity of dyslipidemia could
be effectively decreased by improving liver function, renal
function and thyroid function.

Article: Quantitative structure-activity relationships of 5-HT2C agonists with obesity
by Longyang Li, Xiaolin Wu, Chensheng Qiu, Xuexiao Ma, Bohua Chen
Chronic Diseases Prevention Review 2017 1(3) 28-33; published online 25 May 2017
Abstract: Gene expression programming (GEP) as a novel machine
learning technique was firstly used to predict the EC50 of
5-HT2C agonist. Each kind of compound was
represented by a series of calculated structural
descriptors. GEP model is based on five descriptors which
were selected from the descriptors’ pool by heuristic method
(HM) to build multivariable linear model. As a remarkable
result, the GEP method generated a nonlinear quantitative
model with a correlation coefficient and a variance of 0.82
and 0.10 for the training set, 0.78 and 0.18 for the test
set, respectively. It indicates that GEP can be applied to
study the 5-HT2C agonist, and the predicted
results are well consistent with experimental values.
